Florida Premier FC’s own Jaeda Russell is officially a UNCAF U-16 CHAMPION and Gold Medalist with the Puerto Rico Women’s National Team! 🥇
Competing at the FIFA Forward UNCAF U-16 Women’s Championship in Nicaragua, Jaeda delivered one of the most dominant performances of the tournament:
• Assist in every match (4 assists on 9 total PR goals)
• Game-winning assist in both the semifinals and the championship
• Locked down the left side with elite defending & pace
• Described by commentators as “the best of the best.”
Puerto Rico defeated El Salvador 1–0 in the final—becoming the first team in men’s or women’s history to win a UNCAF Championship as an invited nation.
Proud is an understatement.
